The Devonshire Classic has for many years been one of the Skipton area's most popular events. After a short break following the closure of the Devonshire pub, the competition was successfully re-launched in 2005 thanks to generous sponsorship from J D Wetherspoon, the new owners of the pub. 2008 saw a change in format with a one day invitational pairs being run with a maximum of one home bowler allowed in each pair. Details of the 2009 Classic will appear here when available.
